We had the opportunity to go to Camp Verde to go camping (a little too chilly in Sedona) and found an awesome spot with a nice open view of the Mingus Mountains, a fire ring with some extra wood left, and a great flat spot for the tent. Camping with a hybrid vehicle that acts like a generator certainly makes camping much easier. This was along FR 618. We tried to check out Bull Pen since Kevin has never gone, but it was closed because of the recent flooding (Mar 2023).
