Kevin had the great idea to grab a canopy to place over our tent to provide a place to sit that was dry and enjoy the views, and to have a semi-dry spot to take off/on our shoes. We were glad that we had it because our tent flooded a little bit even with the extra protection. It was such a serene setting, like a gnome garden or a fairytale storybook illustration. The ground was covered with moss, the trees were weighed down with moss, and everything was green and wet. The skies were cloudy and it drizzled most of the time we were there. It was a really cool experience, but we decided that we would head for drier ground after two nights of camping.
